# Zooming and panning

Zoom in when you need to make precise edits, or zoom out to see more of the slide and the surrounding canvas. The editor supports zoom levels from 50% to 600%.

## Zoom the editor

Pinch on a trackpad, or hold &lt;kbd&gt;⌘&lt;/kbd&gt; on macOS or &lt;kbd&gt;Ctrl&lt;/kbd&gt; on Windows and Linux while scrolling, to zoom around the pointer. You can also use these keyboard shortcuts:

- Press &lt;kbd&gt;+&lt;/kbd&gt; to zoom in.
- Press &lt;kbd&gt;-&lt;/kbd&gt; to zoom out.
- Press &lt;kbd&gt;0&lt;/kbd&gt; to reset the editor to 100%.

When the editor is zoomed, the current zoom level and a **Reset** button appear in the lower-left corner.

## Move around while zoomed

Scroll or swipe on a trackpad to pan across the canvas. You can also hold &lt;kbd&gt;Space&lt;/kbd&gt;, then click and drag to move in any direction without changing the slide content.
