# Turn a deck into one scrollable page

[Canonical article](https://slides.com/docs/scroll-mode)

Scroll Mode presents your deck as one vertically scrolling page. Viewers move through the slides at their own pace using the browser's regular scroll controls instead of navigating one slide at a time.

Scroll Mode is useful for self-guided presentations, reports, portfolios, and other decks that people are more likely to read than watch live. It gives the deck the familiar browsing behavior of a web page without creating a separate copy of your presentation.

## Open a deck in Scroll Mode

1. Open the deck from your profile page, the editor, or its presentation page.
2. Select **Open deck...**.
3. Select **Scroll**.

You can also add `/scroll` to the end of a deck URL. For example:

`slides.com/<username>/<deck-name>/scroll`

## Share a Scroll Mode link

1. Open the **Share** popup.
2. On the **Copy Link** tab, find **Link type** and select **Scroll**.
3. Copy and share the generated link.

The link opens the same deck in Scroll Mode, so you can continue editing the presentation without creating or maintaining another version.

Scroll Mode does not change who can access a deck. Public decks remain public. When you generate a Scroll Mode link for a private deck, the private link's access settings still apply, including its password, expiration date, and revocation.
