# Iframe blocks

Iframe blocks embed interactive content from other websites directly inside a slide. Use them for maps, videos, prototypes, data visualizations, 3D models, and other web experiences that are designed to be embedded.

## Add an iframe

1. Select **Iframe** from the insert toolbar.
2. Paste a complete HTTPS URL or iframe embed code into **Iframe Source**.
3. Move and resize the block to fit the slide.

The source website must allow its pages to be embedded. Slides displays a warning if the address is insecure or the website's security settings prevent it from loading in an iframe.

## Configure an iframe

Select the block to edit its source and appearance. You can adjust its size, position, padding, corner radius, opacity, border, shadow, blur, and animation.

Enable **Preload** when the embedded content needs extra time to load. Slides then starts loading it a few slides before it becomes visible. Preloading is not recommended for content that should autoplay.

## Use an iframe as the slide background

An iframe can fill the entire slide as an interactive background. This works well for immersive web content, maps, prototypes, and visualizations.

Right-click the iframe block and select **Use iframe as slide background**.
