# Set a new password for your account

You can change your password on the [account settings](/docs/settings-page) page. Enter your new password and current password to confirm the change.

## Google or Facebook sign-in

If you sign in to Slides using a Google or Facebook account, you cannot add a password from the settings page. Use the [password reset form](/users/password/new) instead.

After setting a password, sign in with your email address and new password instead of the third-party service.
